Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all guests. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cashier duties including processing payments accurately and providing change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met during food preparation and service
- Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure quality standards are upheld
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or the food industry preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order totaling
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and guest interaction
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest experience
