Job Summary
As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience while driving vehicle sales. You will engage with potential buyers, understand their needs and desires, and present them with vehicles that best suit their lifestyle. Your role is critical in supporting the sales department in exceeding the targets and goals set forth. Working closely with your managers and team members to maximize every opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer a premium buying experience through exceptional customer service
- Introduce clients to Volvo's unique value: safety, simplicity, and innovation
- Ensure all customer interactions align with Volvo's brand values and high service standards
- Guide customers through a discovery-driven buying journey - not just a sales pitch
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Volvo vehicles, trims, features, technologies, and industry trends of our and competitors' models
- Assist in guiding customers through finance, leasing, and purchasing options
- Work with our team to collaborate on social media content
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the brand's advanced features
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Follow up on all leads with an omnichannel approach utilizing all forms of communication, including in-person, phone, text and video.
- Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction through the whole ownership experience
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate customer records in our software systems
Qualifications & Skills
- A natural communicator who can position a gem with confidence
- Commitment to learning, growth and personal development
- Team Player! We mean it.
- 3 years of proven experience in retail sales (luxury automotive brand experience a plus)
- Passion for helping people
- Adept in Emotional and relational intelligence
- Valid G Licence with a clean driving abstract
- Valid OMVIC
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
