Tapered Insulation Estimator
Our client is a well-established construction and building materials supplier with decades of experience in North America. With a strong reputation for reliability and quality, they provide essential materials and expertise to contractors, architects, and builders across the continent.
As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled Tapered Insulation Estimator to support their growing commercial roofing projects. In this role, you will work closely with contractors, sales teams, and clients to design tapered insulation systems, prepare accurate estimates, and ensure projects are executed smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Review and interpret client specifications, drawings, and proposals to create accurate cost estimates for commercial roofing projects.
- Develop tapered insulation designs using Taper Plus and AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare and present detailed quotations, including material, labor, and timeline estimates.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and stakeholders to clarify project requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct site visits to take measurements, assess conditions, and ensure proper safety protocols are followed.
- Prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines for bidding and project execution phases.
- Stay updated on roofing principles, codes, and new products to enhance project accuracy.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure all documentation is complete and accessible.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Provide onsite support to contractors and sales representatives as needed.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in roofing, construction, architectural design, or project estimating.
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architectural Design, or a related field.
- Experience with Taper Plus, AutoCAD, and construction estimating software is an asset.
- Strong understanding of roofing principles, building codes, and blueprint interpretation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
