We are looking for a Production Manager to be responsible for leading a team in the manufacture and assembly of products and components for custom fire and rescue vehicles. This position will be responsible for leading multiple production departments and lines, overseeing the quality, productivity, safety, and team member’s schedule.
We are recruiting applicants who we can count on to keep everyone on task and on schedule, ensuring that production goals are met, and provide input to help improve operations and streamline workflows. You will work with other departments and personnel that are part of the production process and will collaborate together as a team, to coordinate the production flow between locations.

Job Responsibilities:
Review work orders and accordingly establish priorities and schedules to meet production goals
Work with team members in providing instructions, direction, and deadlines
Plan equipment, material, and personnel needed for job order
Plan and monitor movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations
Monitor progress and execution of job orders, revising schedules as needed for timely delivery
Coordinate with supervisor in resolving production planning and control issues
Review production plans to identify and report potential issues and risks to management
Communicate and report production updates to senior management on regular basis
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role, minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisor or leadership role
Practical experience in electrical, mechanical, welding, or metal fabrication
Experience in vehicle production or custom manufacturing environment and processes
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated team building and human relations skills
Knowledge and experience with regulatory agency requirements such as NFPA, FAA, DOT, etc.
Familiarity with Microsoft office applications and inventory software
Proven organizational planning and scheduling
Excellent customer service & time management skills
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
