Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences, provide personalized recommendations, and upsell additional services or retail products
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare tips to promote healthy nails
- Manage retail sales by recommending suitable products to enhance clients’ beauty routines
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the salon environment and restocking supplies as needed
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within a salon or spa setting
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, current trends, and popular products
- Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
- Ability to uphold strict sanitation standards consistently
- Experience in body waxing is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is valued
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services and retail items effectively
- Prior retail sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory
