Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Remove and install tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper inflation levels
- Perform wheel balancing and alignment procedures as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance on tire equipment and tools
- Assist customers with tire selection, sales, and related automotive services
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly
Skills
- Mechanic background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and tire technology
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
- Experience with automotive repair or maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of sales techniques related to automotive parts and services
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while managing multiple tasks
