We are seeking a result oriented and highly motivated Draftsperson/Steel detailer to help join us serve our customers and sales staff with quoting and product application.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· 3d modeling and shop drawing creation
· Ability to understand company products and designs
· Implement revisions and change orders in efficient manner
· Reading of architectural drawings and specifications
· Final review of shop drawings and permit drawings for accuracy
· Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
KNOWLEDGE & Experience:
· Understanding of Solid Edge, AutoCad, Tekla or other CAD software
· Previous experience in steel building detailing, construction or agriculture is an asset.
· 2+ years of experience working with drafting in CAD software
. Experience with MBS software or prefabricated steel building design is an asset.
· Jobsite experience is seen as beneficial but not required.
· Knowledge of construction drawings and building code is beneficial
