Job Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Front of House Staff to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred but not required. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and grow within the food service industry.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Take customer orders accurately using POS system - Clover
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and handling
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Assist with food delivery from kitchen to tables, ensuring timely service
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Must be 19+ with Serving it Right
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with POS systems - preferable clover
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
- Ability to serve guests courteously while maintaining efficiency during peak hours
- Basic understanding of the food industry operations and hospitality standards
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
