Reporting to the Team Leader, the Order and Packaging Clerk plays a key role in preparing, packaging, and shipping orders. The incumbent ensures order accuracy, manages priorities, and strictly adheres to sanitation standards, while working closely with the various teams at La Fromagerie.
Prepare cheese orders using the KESA ordering system;
Complete the packaging of products according to established procedures;
Follow the order of priority for orders;
Generate shipping documents and invoices for customer orders;
Manage cheese arrivals and departures at the loading dock;
Receive packaging materials, boxes, and pallets;
Conduct inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy;
Operate, adjust, and perform basic maintenance on packaging equipment (portioner, wrapper, tray sealer);
Plan packaging based on available inventory;
Strictly adhere to food safety, health and safety, and food quality standards;
Notify quality control prior to packaging to conduct required sensory tests;
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment;
Complete required records electronically;
Provide support to other departments (strapping, brining, aging, washing) as needed;
Perform any other related tasks associated with operations.
