What You'll Do
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
- Apply paint, primer, and protective coatings using spray guns, rollers, and brushes
- Mix and match paint colors and coatings to specification
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality, consistency, and coverage
- Maintain and clean spray equipment, tools, and work area
- Follow proper procedures for handling paints, solvents, and other materials
- Work closely with production staff to meet project deadlines
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
What You Bring
- 1-2 years of experience in painting, spray finishing, or a related industrial role
- Familiarity with spray equipment and paint application techniques
- Strong attention to detail and a steady hand
- Ability to work in a shop environment, including exposure to fumes and standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift materials and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A commitment to workplace safety
