Now Hiring: Experienced Landscape Foreman
Our client is seeking an experienced Landscaper to lead landscape construction projects throughout the Burlington and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong experience.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing crews, reading site plans, coordinating daily project activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise landscape construction crews on residential and commercial projects.
- Construct retaining walls using concrete, stone, and modular block systems.
- Install interlock, patios, walkways, steps, and other hardscape features.
- Read and interpret landscape drawings, site plans, and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily work activities and delegate tasks to crew members.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Operate landscape construction equipment and tools safely.
- Perform site grading, excavation, and material layout as required.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and team members regarding project progress.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of landscape construction experience.
- Previous experience in a Foreman, Crew Lead, or Supervisory role.
- Proven experience building and installing retaining walls.
- Strong knowledge of hardscape construction techniques and materials.
- Ability to read landscape plans and construction drawings.
- Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, and other landscape equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid G Driver's Licence with reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial and high-end residential landscape projects.
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, and excavation practices.
- First Aid/CPR certification considered an asset.
