Compensation & Growth: This role offers a starting base salary of $60,000–$75,000, plus extended health benefits, and performance-based bonuses.
Base salary progression is reviewed annually and is tied to performance, tenure, and the achievement of clearly defined operational goals. Established General Managers earn above the starting base through consistent performance and leadership over time.
About Wild Flour Pizza
Wild Flour Pizza is a growing sourdough pizza company focused on craft, consistency, and strong teams. We operate multiple locations across the Lower Mainland and are intentionally building a leadership group capable of scaling with us over the next several years.
This role is for an experienced restaurant leader who values execution, accountability, and team development as much as great food.
The Role
The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the store — people, operations, culture, and results.
This is not a hands-off role. Our GMs are present leaders who set standards, develop talent, and take full ownership of outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day store operations (FOH & BOH)
- Build, coach, and retain a strong management and hourly team
- Own labour performance, scheduling, and cost control
- Ensure consistent execution of food quality and service standards
- Maintain inventory accuracy, ordering discipline, and cleanliness standards
- Create a positive, accountable, and professional team culture
- Act as the primary ownership representative for the location
- Collaborate with ownership on continuous operational improvement
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience (GM or strong AGM)
- Proven ability to lead teams consistently, not just during peak periods
- Strong operational instincts (labour, systems, people management)
- Calm, solutions-oriented leadership style
- High integrity, reliability, and follow-through
- Comfortable being held accountable to clear expectations and metrics
- Passion for hospitality and quality food (pizza experience is a plus, not a requirement)
Onboarding & Expectations
All General Manager hires complete a 90-day onboarding period. During this time you will be working with another General Manager as you learn the systems and company philosphy. This period is designed to ensure strong alignment, establish clear expectations, and support long-term success for both the GM and the company.
