Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented and licensed 308A Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal components used in various construction and renovation projects. This role requires precision, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products, including ducts, vents, and other HVAC components.
- Measure, cut, and shape metal sheets using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as shears, brakes, and rollers.
- Install sheet metal components on-site, including securing them to structures using screws, bolts, or adhesives.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure components meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain and repair sheet metal products and systems as needed.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards and regulations, including proper handling of tools and materials.
Skills and Qualifications:·
- Should have at least 4 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker.
- Valid 308A Sheet Metal Worker License (Ontario).
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork systems and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including shears, brakes, and welding equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
