Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Base and Pave Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. Duties
- Assist in base work and paving work.
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and cleaning job sites.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the project duration.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed.
