Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods or passengers to designated locations
- Ensure timely delivery or pickup of items while adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, which may involve heavy lifting
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure working environment
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify any maintenance needs or safety concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and the public
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for clear, effective interactions with team members and customers
- Good navigation skills and familiarity with local routes or GPS systems
- Responsible, punctual, and attentive to safety protocols at all times
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
