This is not a back-office processing role. You will lead the servicing function, oversee a complex portfolio, and influence how mortgage servicing is executed across the organization.

Opportunity Overview
Lead a commercial mortgage servicing team managing a diverse portfolio of syndicated and institutional loans in a high-growth real estate finance environment.
You will take ownership of post-funding mortgage servicing operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across syndicated loans, private lender mortgages, and institutional portfolios.
This role combines hands-on technical involvement with team leadership. You will work closely with investors, clients, legal professionals, and internal stakeholders, while contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
You will oversee mortgage servicing operations and team performance, including:
Lead post-funding activities, including account administration, payments, renewals, and discharges
Create and manage payment schedules for complex loan structures
Prepare investor remittance reports and oversee payment distribution
Monitor outstanding payments and arrears while maintaining accurate records
Serve as key contact for clients, lawyers, lenders, and underwriters
Generate month-end, management, and portfolio reports
Oversee annual statements, audit confirmations, and compliance requirements
Review and validate legal documentation related to loan closings
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy
Identify and implement process improvements within the department
Train, coach, and mentor junior team members
Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
5–10+ years of experience in commercial mortgage servicing or loan administration
Proven leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring staff
Strong understanding of loan structures, interest calculations, and lending practices
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
Familiarity with real estate lending and related documentation
This role is best suited for candidates with direct experience in commercial mortgage servicing, real estate lending, or complex loan administration environments.
