Smartwork Electrical Ltd. is currently hiring a Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in the Lower Mainland. We are a well-established electrical contractor specializing in residential, commercial, and multi-family construction projects.
We are looking for a motivated, reliable electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants steady, long-term work with opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation work on residential and commercial construction sites
- Complete rough-in and finishing electrical work
- Install panels, lighting systems, devices, and distribution equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Work independently or as part of a crew under supervision of a foreman
- Ensure all work meets BC Electrical Code and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Support apprentices when required
Requirements
- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician
- Experience in residential, commercial, or multi-family construction
- Strong understanding of BC Electrical Code
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid BC Driver’s Licence
- Reliable and safety-focused attitude
