Looking for motivated individuals
- Operate and maintain shawarma grill, rotisserie, and other cooking equipment.
- Grill, and prepare meats (beef, chicken, lamb, etc.) according to restaurant standards.Marinate meats and ensure proper seasoning following restaurant recipes.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
- Assemble shawarma wraps, plates, and side orders as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station at all times.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist kitchen staff with prep work, inventory, and restocking supplies.
- Provide support during busy service hours to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Georgetown, ON L7G 4B1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
