POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY
The role of the Coordinator, Digital Content and Virtual Events is responsible for is crucial for maintaining a secure, functional, and user-friendly online presence. By managing various aspects of website operations and online event promotion, they contribute significantly to the overall success of our organization's digital strategy.
The Coordinator, Digital Content and Virtual Events will report to the CAO while being directly supervised and mentored by the Director, Marketing, Technology and Design. The Coordinator, Digital Content and Virtual Events and the Graphics Designer will be expected to closely interact to meet the Association’s strategic goals. Working with other ORFA team members in meeting the digital information needs of the Association is expected.
JOB DETAILS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Coordinator, Digital Content and Virtual Events plays a key role in supporting ORFA’s digital infrastructure, online education delivery, and member engagement initiatives. This position is responsible for the coordination, execution, and optimization of website content, digital communications, and virtual/hybrid events.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Website and Digital Platform Management
- Update, edit, and publish website content including pages, images, community boards, job postings, and online store items
- Ensure all website content is accurate, current, visually consistent, and aligned with ORFA brand standards
- Implement on-page SEO best practices to improve search visibility and user experience
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Technology and Design team to support ongoing site enhancements and updates
Virtual and Hybrid Event Coordination
- Coordinate and manage virtual and hybrid events (Zoom/Teams), including webinars, workshops, and meetings
- Support presenters and speakers with scheduling, setup, and technical readiness
- Configure event platforms (registration pages, settings, tracking links) and provide live event troubleshooting
- Act as the primary liaison during events to ensure smooth delivery and positive attendee experience
Digital Content Development and Distribution
- Develop, schedule, and publish content across digital channels including website, email campaigns, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
- Maintain and manage a digital content calendar aligned with organizational priorities and campaigns
- Coordinate digital assets including graphics, video, and branded materials
Analytics and Performance Reporting
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics across digital campaigns, e-newsletters, and virtual events
- Utilize tools such as Google Analytics and digital advertising platforms to evaluate effectiveness
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and overall performance
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams to align digital content, training delivery, and communications
- Support integration between content, technology, and design functions to enhance operational efficiency
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and digital collaboration tools
- Strong experience with Zoom Meetings, Webinars, and virtual event platforms
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite)
- Working knowledge of SEO, digital marketing strategies, and analytics platforms

JOB LOCATION
The ORFA is a Toronto based not-for-profit Association with a commitment to serve the entire province of Ontario. The position may be a hybrid, home-based satellite office, using a flexible work schedule with a requirement to attend the ORFA office on a bi-weekly basis. Occasional in-person support for events or organizational initiatives as required.
