VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Production Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure products are manufactured safely and efficiently, to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in meeting production goals while contributing to a clean, organized, and team-oriented work environment.
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to work orders and specifications.
- Load materials and components into machines and ensure proper machine operation
- Perform quality checks and inspections throughout the production process
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report mechanical concerns as required
- Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation
- Follow production schedules to meet daily output targets
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company policies
- Assist with routine machine maintenance and changeovers
- Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel
- Follow all health and safety procedures and wear required PPE
What You Bring
- Previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment is an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new machinery and processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting materials as required
