Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all on-site activities for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Works include but is not limited to:
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, according to project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, and site workers.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with Pegah Health and Safety policy and COR.
- Monitor project progress, and report updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Inspect work quality to ensure adherence to Pegah and industry standards.
- Resolve on-site conflicts and issues to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and safety documentation.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients regarding project status and any arising concerns.
- Ensure proper site preparation, equipment availability, and material deliveries.
- Implement and uphold best practices for risk management and site security.
- The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing for extended periods.
- May involve working weekends or overtime to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Degree in construction management or related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor for 5 years.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency is use of Procore and Microsoft Project would be an asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with COR regulations and requirements would be preferred.
- Physical ability to navigate and inspect a construction site.
