Sales Representative – York Region, Ontario
Galaxy Fibre (a division of Galaxy Broadband Communications Inc.), in conjunction with our partners at YorkNet (a York Region company), is currently hiring Sales Representatives to join our local sales team across York Region, Ontario.
YorkNet—an open-access fibre network built to bring next-generation connectivity to York Region—is rapidly expanding. Galaxy Fibre is proud to be one of the first Internet Service Providers delivering high-speed fibre internet services over this network, offering residents and businesses across York Region access to the fastest internet technology available.

Why do we need you?
There are thousands of homes across York Region now ready to connect to fibre internet, with more coming online as the YorkNet build continues to expand. We are looking for enthusiastic and community-minded Sales Representatives based in York Region to help build relationships and grow Galaxy Fibre's local customer base.
Your Responsibilities:
- Connect locally: Knock on doors, staff community booths, and follow up by phone/email to introduce Galaxy Fibre's symmetrical gig-speed plans now available across York Region.
- Own your territory: Plan daily routes, track leads, and keep CRM notes up to date so no household is left behind.
- Educate & excite: Explain how fibre internet works, why it's faster and more reliable than cable or wireless, and how Galaxy Fibre's customer-first support stands out.
- Hit (and smash) targets: Meet weekly order goals and help the team achieve neighbourhood-wide take-rate milestones.
- Be the local expert: Stay current on promotions, installation timelines, and partner initiatives with YorkNet.
- Represent the brand: Uphold Galaxy Fibre's friendly, professional image at all times—online, on the phone, and at the door.
What You Need to Know About This Opportunity:
- Comprehensive paid training—learn fibre technology, sales skills, and neighbourhood engagement tactics (no prior telecom experience needed).
- Base salary + uncapped commissions—earn what you're worth; earnings grow with performance.
- Clear growth path to team lead and territory manager roles within Galaxy Fibre's expanding footprint.
- Mileage reimbursement for travel outside of your assigned territory.
Desired Skills and Qualifications: We are confident in our ability to teach and train the technical and sales components—what we're looking for are the right people skills.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building capabilities.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Sales, retail, or hospitality experience
- Community connections in York Region
- Experience using a CRM or sales app on mobile
Minimum Requirements:
- Full-time availability.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
