BROKEN STONE WINERY
Prince Edward County, Ontario
Pizza Cook
Part-Time Seasonal
Some kitchens are just kitchens. This one looks out over a limestone-ridge vineyard in the heart of Prince Edward County.
Broken Stone Winery is looking for a pizza cook to join our team for the 2026 season. We run a wood-fired pizza program out of our outdoor pergola kitchen, and we’re serious about the food — house-made dough, thoughtful toppings, and the kind of pies that hold their own next to a glass of estate Pinot Noir.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You’ll be working a set schedule of five shifts per week, running the pizza kitchen through prep and full service. That means stretching and firing pies, keeping a tight station, and occasionally working alongside a second cook on our busiest days. You need to be comfortable operating independently — this isn’t a position where someone will be looking over your shoulder.
YOUR SCHEDULE
- Monday & Tuesday: 10:00am – 5:30pm
- Thursday & Friday: 5:00pm – 8:30pm
- Saturday: 12:00pm – 8:30pm
- Approximately 30 hours per week
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Someone who takes pride in their craft, communicates well under pressure, and doesn’t need to be reminded twice about food safety. Pizza or kitchen experience is an asset, but a genuine love of good food and the ability to learn our process matters more. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team in an intimate setting — attitude counts for a lot here.
To apply, send a brief note about yourself and your kitchen background to [email protected]. No formal cover letter needed — just tell us who you are and why this sounds like your kind of gig.
We are also looking for a casual, on-call pizza cook to cover shifts on an ad hoc basis. Perfect for anyone looking for extra cash or a flexible side gig!
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- Discounted or free food
- On-site parking
Work Location: In person
