TownePlace Suites by Marriott Brantford & Conference Centre is seeking a dependable and motivated Part Time - Maintenance Person to join our team. As part of a Marriott-branded property, we take pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience, and our maintenance team plays a critical role in ensuring our hotel remains safe, functional, and welcoming.

Position Overview
The Maintenance Person is responsible for responding to guest and operational repair requests, completing preventative maintenance, and performing general repairs throughout the hotel. This role requires a strong sense of urgency, problem-solving ability, and a “can-do” attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to guest room and public area maintenance requests
- Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and equipment troubleshooting
- Repair and maintain items such as furniture, fixtures, doors, cabinets, walls, and finishes
- Complete Preventative Maintenance tasks and Guestroom PM checklists
- Maintain and update work orders, ensuring proper completion and sign-off
- Support upkeep of hotel systems including pool, fitness centre, HVAC, and lighting
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards
- Report hazards, incidents, or safety concerns immediately
- Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned
- Provide after-hours emergency support when required
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of maintenance or technical experience (hotel experience is an asset)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and professionalism with guests and team members
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Schedule & Requirements
- Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

- Facilities maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
