Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team in executing an Italian influenced dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for food quality and safety. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and team management to ensure the highest standards of service and cuisine are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and food service personnel.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes and standards.
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Develop menus that align with restaurant branding while incorporating innovative culinary ideas.
- Ensure proper kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and organization at all times.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills, efficiency, and teamwork.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health regulations and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize service flow and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant management practices including inventory control and cost management.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and food safety standards.
- Previous restaurant or culinary industry experience is essential; hospitality background is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on serving guests’ needs professionally.

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
