Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician (442A) to join our further processing facility in Brampton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth production operations. This role requires strong electrical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to oversee maintenance activities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and facilities equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes.
- Conduct electrical repairs as needed to support facility maintenance.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for accurate repairs.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate team efforts for efficient work completion.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance activities.
- Assist in facilities maintenance projects to improve plant infrastructure and equipment reliability.
- Provide excellent customer service within internal teams by ensuring minimal downtime of equipment.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid 442A licence
- Proven electrical experience within manufacturing or facilities maintenance environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform welding repairs when necessary.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration across departments.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work and industrial environments.

Pay: $30.18-$40.00 per hour
