Role and Responsibilities
As an Intermediate Interior Designer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of projects through various stages of execution, with increasing responsibility and independence.
Responsibilities include supporting project teams with design development, production of working drawings, consultant coordination, and site support. You will also participate in client and internal meetings, assist with documentation, and contribute to project delivery from concept through construction.
Position Requirements
- Strong creative, technical, analytical, and organizational abilities
- Graduate of a recognized Interior Design, Architecture, or Architectural Technology program
- Working towards completion of NCIDQ and ARIDO accreditation
- Advanced proficiency in REVIT, CAD, and Photoshop
- Strong rendering skills using REVIT and Photoshop
- Understanding of building codes and ability to apply them in design documentation
- 4–6 years of professional experience in interior design or a related field
- Strong sketching, presentation, and design communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
- Knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and materials
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
