Position
A skilled construction laborer will be required to install garage equipment such as hoists, car washes, oil delivery systems, air systems, & pressure wash systems. Installation tasks include, but are not limited to, heavy lifting, running pipe (air, oil, water), drilling, reading drawings, floating equipment, & excavation. Occasionally skilled laborers will be required to assist service technicians with equipment repairs. Other duties may include work around the shop, organizing parts, picking up materials for projects or service calls, & other miscellaneous jobs assigned by management. The ideal candidate for this position resides in the Barrie / Orillia area and has an outstanding work ethic, demonstrates the ability to “think outside of the box”, is goal oriented, & displays attention to detail. This position offers room for growth into a service technician or lead installer position if the candidate shows potential.
Pay rate will be based on skill set and experience.
Responsibilities
Confidently read shop drawings/blueprints & install equipment accordingly
Follow written & verbal instruction, asking for clarification when necessary
Bring a "Team Player" attitude to work daily
Have the ability to work solo or with other team members.
Maintain professionalism in appearance, dress, & personal conduct
Maintain a valid driver's license & clean drivers abstract
Operate skyjacks, Forklifts, & like equipment in a safe, efficient manner
Perform Miscellaneous tasks as required
Requirements/Assets
Valid G Class Drivers License -Requirement
Clean Drivers Abstract – Requirement
3 Years Skilled Labor Experience – Asset
AZ Class License – Asset but not required
WHIMIS, Working At Heights, Lock Out Tag Out, Fall Arrest, Forklift, & Skyjack certificates is an asset
