Lil’wat Construction Enterprises is seeking qualified Heavy Equipment Operators at both the Junior and Senior levels. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of heavy equipment across a variety of construction projects. Level assignment will be based on experience, demonstrated judgment, and ability to work independently.

Safely operate heavy equipment including excavators, backhoes, loaders, dozers, and articulated rock trucks

Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, landscaping, and truck loading

Conduct daily prestart inspections, fueling, greasing, and endofshift checkout procedures

Read and interpret drawings, layout information, and grade stakes
-
Complete daily equipment and safety-related documentation clearly and accurately
-
Maintain equipment cleanliness and report mechanical issues
-
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site rules
-
Maintain professionalism with crew members, supervisors, and clients
-
Perform related site tasks as assigned

Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in variable weather conditions

Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
-
Clear, professional communication skills
-
Ability to manage priorities and work to timelines
-
First Aid, WHMIS, and industry training are assets
-
Class 5 Driver’s Licence and clear driving abstract required for driving duties

Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required

Classification as Junior or Senior Heavy Equipment Operator will be determined based on demonstrated experience, operating hours, and ability to work independently.
