The Kootenay Co-op is looking for a temporary Parking Lot Attendant to join the Finance Team for 16-32 hours per week! Join us in ensuring customer safety and the promotion of smooth traffic flow, ensuring parking space availability and traffic turnover in our parking areas. Weekend/evening availability may be required.

DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
· Administer and ensure customer adherence to parking policies
· Ensure that only Co-op shoppers park in the parking lot and the underground parkade
· Patrol parking areas to identify potentially suspicious behavior and coordinate with Loss Prevention/Customer Service to observe security footage when necessary
· Direct and assist Co-op shoppers to navigate the parking lot, parkade, and walkways in a safe and orderly fashion
· Ensure that the parking areas and walkways are clean and free of debris
· Ensure shopping carts are returned to the cart corral at the front of the store
· Install and remove the vehicle boot on automobiles in violation of our parking policies
· Other duties as assigned.

Rate: $18.25 – $20.00, depending on experience
