We are currently looking for an individual to fill the vacant position of:
Material Handler/Forklift Operator
(Afternoon Shift)
Position Details:
- Receiving components – product verification, scanning
- Component preparation/line set up in production areas
- Inventory Control of materials, WIP and finished goods
- Material handling for all production areas
- Shipping functions, including unloading, loading, tub sorting, staging, etc.
- Packaging control (Mass Pro, cardboard, New Model)
- Maintain 5S for entire plant
- Willing to work in all areas of Material Control
- Physical Inventory activities
- Other duties as required
- Full-time position with benefits after three months of employment
- Starting wage of $22.50 per hour with opportunity for wage to increase
Qualifications:
- Standup/Picker experience required
- Counterbalance experience required
- Fall Arrest certification required
- Computer literacy/experience required
- Inventory Control experience an asset
- Shipping/Receiving experience an asset
