Auto Mechanic/Apprentice Required Immediately for Auto repair shop in Etobicoke, Mechanic preferred, Apprentices welcome, must be experienced, driver's license required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer
Perform Oil changes to various vehicle models
Use various tools to research required maintenance and perform various tests
Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed issues and repair estimate
Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist
Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ontario Mechanic's License (310S) in good standing or 1-3 year apprentice
Experience in car diagnostics
Experience with European vehicles
Willing to perform tire repair and tire changes
Professional manners including keeping shop areas clean
Attention to details a must!
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Possession of essential trade tools and equipment
Valid driver’s license
