Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving guests, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Prior experience in food and beverage service, particularly in a restaurant or bar setting, is highly valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining food safety standards, handling cash transactions accurately, and providing exceptional hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems such as Clover POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for all patrons
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following legal requirements and company policies
- Experience in serving in a fast-paced environment is desirable
- Have a professional attitude committed to providing exceptional hospitality services
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
