Elwood Disposal is looking for a reliable, hard-working DZ licensed driver to join our growing team!
We are currently hiring for a DZ Driver / Bin Truck Operator position. This role mainly involves delivering and picking up disposal bins for residential and construction clients throughout the Kawartha Lakes area and surrounding locations.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver disposal bins safely to customer locations
- Pick up bins when requested by clients
- Transport and dump loads at local disposal sites
- Communicate dump weights/totals back to the office for invoicing
- Maintain clean and professional communication with customers
- Perform daily truck inspections and basic equipment checks
- Occasionally transport and offload equipment/machinery to job sites
- Operate safely and professionally on residential properties and active job sites
Requirements
- Valid DZ driver’s licence
- Clean driver’s abstract preferred
- Experience operating roll-off/bin trucks is an asset
- Ability to safely back into tight spaces and residential driveways
- Comfortable working independently
- Good communication and time management skills
- Equipment hauling and machine transport experience is an asset
