Bannister Automotive Edson is BUSY! We have a Ford Dealership and a GM dealership in the heart of the oil/gas industry, that means a TON of work for our technicians! We immediately require a journeyman/woman technician to join our amazing crew of technicians. Looking for the best of the best that want to keep as much money in their bank account as possible! Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs and assembly tasks
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately identify issues
- Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and service recommendations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair orders
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required during repairs or parts handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics software and electronic systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: Up to $61.00 per hour
