Service Master of Fredericton is seeking an experienced adaptable and driven Project Manager to lead restoration projects for residential and commercial properties impacted by fire, water, wind, smoke and mould damage.
This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while providing exceptional customer service during challenging circumstances. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who can effectively manage change, build trust with teams and clients, and maintain a positive, solutions-focused approach in fast-paced and often unpredictable environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach and coordinate restoration teams, including employees and subcontractors, to deliver high-quality projects safely and efficiently.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture that promotes engagement. productivity, and continuous improvement.
Conduct site inspections and assess damage to develop scopes of work, project plans, and resource requirements.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution and profitability.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, insurance adjusters, property managers, and other stakeholders.
Effectively manage project changes, shifting priorities, and unforeseen challenges while minimizing disruption, and maintaining project momentum.
Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders to ensure expectations are understood and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality expectations.
Respond to emergency restoration situations as part of an on-call rotation.
Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat and referral business.
Support conflict resolution and facilitate teamwork.
Promote a respectful and professional work environment.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in restoration or construction, with project management experience preferred.
Red Seal in Carpentry (strong asset).
Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent projects.
Demonstrated experience leading teams and coordinating diverse stakeholders.
Ability to learn and utilize various software applications associated with project management and restoration services.
Valid driver's license.
