Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced caulkers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, replacing sealants at various structures, including windows, doors, and storefronts. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision to ensure high-quality finishes. The caulker will require to be able to work at heights. Work requires ladder, lifts, scaffolding access .
Responsibilities
- Utilize caulking materials to seal edges and prevent leaks.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects.
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Use hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing glass installations.
Skills
- Experience with caulking techniques for sealing glass installations.
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to weld when necessary for specific projects.
- Knowledge of construction painting methods as they relate to glass installations.
- Strong skills in using hand tools relevant to glazing work.
- Experience in restoration of existing glass structures is advantageous.
