Job description
A restaurant/bar in Simcoe, ON, is hiring Part-Time for all ‘Front of House’ positions. Positions are available for experienced Hosts, Bartenders, and Servers. Applicants must be hard-working, team-focused, and possess exceptional Guest Service Skills.
We require flexibility in availability to include weekdays and weekends, as well as both daytime and evening events.

Job Type: Part-Time
Required experience:
- Bartending - Knowledge of liquors, mixing drinks, re-stocking beer, changing beer kegs, prices, comfortable with ID-ing and refusing customers
- Serving - Knowledgeable of the bar menu, take orders, ensure accuracy of orders and bills
- Must have excellent customer service skills, strong communication and the ability to multitask and be courteous to all guests attending events
- 2 years of prior experience is preferred
- Prior job reference might be required
- Must know about cocktail mixology and how to properly serve beverages
Required license or certification:
- Smart Serve Required for Bar and Serving Positions
Candidate must:
- a quick learner
- motivated and down-to-earth
- shows responsibility & initiative to improve our business
- be friendly, smile, be personable and have a positive attitude during all events
- stock the bar with glassware and appropriate beer, wine, and liquor as listed on the banquet event order
- cut and prep slices of fruit garnishes and fill juice mixers as needed
- maintain the cleanliness of all work areas, washrooms and bartending supplies
- basic mathematical skills
- perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
- fluent in English, multilingual welcomed
- ability to lift 10-15 lbs to change kegs
- be HONEST
- have SMART SERVE
