Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropodist to join our healthcare team, providing expert foot and ankle care to diverse patient populations. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ foot and ankle health, utilizing medical terminology accurately to document findings.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for conditions such as injuries, deformities, infections, and chronic pain management.
- Administer appropriate medications and perform minor procedures in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Manage patient education on foot health, injury prevention, and post-treatment care, ensuring understanding across diverse populations including pediatrics.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient progress and treatment outcomes to inform ongoing care strategies.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation and data collection to maintain accurate medical records.
- Assist in research initiatives aimed at advancing podiatric practices and improving patient outcomes in acute care or home care settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in hospital or clinical environments with a focus on podiatry or foot care.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to foot and ankle conditions.
- Experience with research or data collection related to patient outcomes is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with pain management techniques and medication administration.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations including pediatrics.
- Prior experience in home care or acute care settings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology necessary for accurate documentation.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
