Job Overview
The role of Beer Buyer/Sales Associate is to curate and manage our craft, import and domestic beer selection while also participating in all other operational duties in the store such as assisting customers, handling cashout, restocking, organising, and cleaning.
This position offers a great opportunity to showcase the wonderful local variety of beers and continue developing relationships with breweries to offer our customers the best selection (We have over 200 references of single beers!).
We are looking for an outgoing person to complete our team, someone able to work autonomously while collaborating with the management and the staff. Strong communication skills and an impeccable work ethic are required.

Responsibilities
- Curate the beer selection and maintain strong relationships with breweries
- Manage the stock by maintaining a healthy rotation
- Place orders
- Train staff on the new products and the existing selection
- Plan consumer tastings with agencies in consultation with the store Manager.
- Offer great customer service while respecting company and liquor regulation policies
- Ensure that the store is clean, safe, and presentable by maintaining a top level of cleanliness and OPS score for the store.
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries
- Execute sales training programs and techniques.
- Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff
Schedule (most probable)
- Wednesday: 845am-445pm
- Thursday: 12pm-8pm
- Friday: 315pm-1115pm
- Saturday: 315pm-1115pm
- Sunday: 315pm-1115pm
- Monday: Off
- Tuesday: Off
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Serving it Right Certification required.
- Proven experience in retail buying management or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail sales principles and practices.
- Proficiency in cash handling and administrative duties.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
