Learn how to build our SmartBUOY ice monitoring sensor and participate in training courses to learn transferable skills that prepare you for future employment.
This program runs from July 2 – July 17, 2026 at $20 per hour (EI eligible hours).
- Open to all ages
- Hands-On Learning: Learn how to assemble the SmartBUOY ice monitoring sensor
- Training Certificates: Become First Aid certified
- Workplace Training: Gain employability skills by participating in workplace training such as courses in computer skills, resume building, and stress management
- Rate of Pay: $20/hour, EI Insurable hours
