Role Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Sales Associate to manage and grow an established commercial book of business. This role combines account management, business development, estimating, customer relationship management, and job site support. The successful candidate will take over an existing commercial book of approximately $1M–$1.5M, maintain strong customer relationships, and continue growing new commercial opportunities across the London and Waterloo markets.
Salary Information: Base salary is around $50,000, Plus uncapped commissions. Target year-one earnings are approximately $85,000–$100,000. Strong long-term earnings can reach $100,000–$150,000+, with top performance potentially reaching $175,000–$200,000+.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an established commercial book of business.
- Build and maintain relationships with commercial customers and key accounts.
- Prospect for new commercial painting opportunities.
- Meet with customers to understand project needs and determine fit.
- Create estimates, proposals, and bids.
- Turn proposals around quickly, typically within 24–48 hours after seeing a project.
- Balance account management, estimating, prospecting, job site visits, and admin work.
- Maintain customer relationships before and during projects.
- Work closely with operations and project management after a job is sold.
- Re-engage with customers if issues come up during production.
- Protect gross margin by pricing work accurately and avoiding lowball estimates.
- Use CertaOne, Outlook, Teams, Excel, email, phone, and basic technology tools consistently.
Requirements:
- Sales experience required.
- Commercial sales experience preferred.
- Construction background preferred.
- Painting experience is ideal but not required.
- Must be able to estimate and sell, not just account manage.
- Strong math, detail orientation, and estimating ability.
- Personable, outgoing, and likable enough to build relationships.
- Strong customer orientation and follow-through.
- High energy, urgency, and drive.
- Flexible and adaptive throughout changing daily priorities.
- Strong team player who can work with operations, admin, and project management.
- Basic technology skills required, including email, Outlook, calendar, Teams, iPhone, Excel, laptop use, and CRM-style tools.
