Job Description: ADME Research Analyst
The ADME Research Analyst is responsible for the planning, execution, and documentation of in vitro Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion (ADME) assays in support of early-stage drug discovery and preclinical development programs
Key Responsibilities
- ·Plan, prepare, and execute routine and investigational in vitro ADME assays, including but not limited to:
- Metabolic stability (human/animal liver microsomes and hepatocytes)
- CYP inhibition and induction studies (direct and time-dependent)
- Plasma protein binding (PPB) and blood-to-plasma partitioning
- Permeability assays (Caco-2, MDCK, PAMPA)
- Drug transporter studies (P-gp, BCRP, OATP, OCT)
- Solubility, lipophilicity (logD), and chemical stability assessments
- · Prepare calibration standards, quality control samples, buffers, and working stock solutions with accuracy and traceability.
- · Perform sample extraction and preparation for LC-MS/MS bioanalytical analysis.
