Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver DZ to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Safely operate DZ licensed trucks to transport goods between locations according to schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload cargo as needed, utilizing proper lifting techniques for heavy items
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any vehicle malfunctions promptly
Requirements
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 3 years insured with a DZ license
- Clean abstract
- Proven experience in driving heavy vehicles, including handling heavy lifting when necessary
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving
- Ability to operate trucks safely over long distances and in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of driving or standing
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism at all times
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
