About this position:
What you’ll do:

Under the direction of the Cook, assists in preparation all foods required as per daily production schedules and catering events

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of food production areas, equipment and kitchen, as per the sanitation plan and signs off mandatory records of completed work
-
Employs Food Safe including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), protocols in all areas of work and follows the food safety plan
What you’ll need:

Experience assisting in the preparation of meals in a health care environment preferred
-
Awareness of provincial health and safety regulations
-
Ability to effectively organize work to respond to needs of a high volume environment
-
Good communication of English both orally and in writing;
-
Food Safe - Level I certification required
