Maintenance Mechanic / Industrial Electrician (Junior, Experienced & Senior)
Now Hiring: Maintenance Mechanics and Industrial Electricians for a growing manufacturing team. We are seeking skilled professionals at Junior, Experienced, and Senior levels who are passionate about maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Positions Available
- Junior Maintenance Mechanic (1–2 years of experience)
- Experienced Maintenance Mechanic / Industrial Electrician (6–7+ years of experience)
- Senior Maintenance Mechanic (Leadership and advanced troubleshooting experience)
Compensation
- $22.00–$40.00 per hour
- Competitive compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain manufacturing and production equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and drives.
- Perform equipment installations and machine changeovers.
- Complete work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment downtime.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and workplace safety regulations.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
QualificationsJunior Maintenance Mechanic
- 1–2 years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience.
- Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
- Technical diploma or apprenticeship is an asset.
Experienced / Senior Maintenance Mechanic
- 6–7+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron) is an asset.
- Experience in food manufacturing, automotive, packaging, plastics, pharmaceutical, or general manufacturing environments is considered an asset.
- Industrial Electrician License (442A/309A) or Millwright License (433A) is an asset but not required.
