We are seeking a passionate and qualified Infant & Toddler Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a warm, responsive, and developmentally appropriate environment for children aged 0–3 years, supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate programs and activities that support early development
- Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Follow all licensing regulations, health, and safety standards
- Observe and document children’s development and communicate progress with families
- Support children’s routines including feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive learning environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Infant & Toddler (IT) Certification (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Strong understanding of child development (ages 0–3)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for early childhood education and care
Assets:
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting
- Knowledge of play-based and emergent curriculum approaches
- Multilingual abilities are an asset
