Full time / Day Shift:
- Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
- Monday to Wednesday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Main functions
Management of drivers & sorters team
Sort packages (Be able to lift a box up to 40lbs)
Prepare the routes for the drivers
Unloaded trailers arriving from customers and from and ensure that sorting is completed before the drivers arrive for morning deliveries
Loaded trailers for morning appointments according to our SOPs
Verification of document conformity
Identify and notify their supervisor of any nonconformity to the goods.
Complete forms and reports as required
Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and ensure that all equipment are functional as per procedures
Ensure shipments are transferred as per transit time
Provide short reaction time for emergencies
Manage priorities on the dock
Ensure SOP’s are followed
Requirements
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is highly desirable
Previous experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving, or related roles is advantageous.
Forklift Experience (Asset)
Mandatory high school diploma
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position in transport
Experience as a driver / parcel delivery
Proficiency with computer tools, including managing Outlook emails
Good geographic knowledge of Winnipeg
