Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Siding Installer or Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with siding installation projects, performing various labor tasks, and supporting the overall construction process. Duties
- Assist with the installation of siding on residential and commercial buildings, following project specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support installation activities
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Measure and read blueprints to ensure proper placement and alignment of siding components
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and finish quality
- Support carpentry tasks as needed, including framing or minor repairs
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or handyman background is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic carpentry skills is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) and work on ladders or scaffolding when necessary
- Knowledge of blueprint reading is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and perform manual labor throughout the workday
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for site travel support
