Service Tech:
Job description:
Reporting to Dispatch/Operations Management, the role of the Field Service Technician/Labourer includes, but is not limited to, operating a field service truck to complete day-to-day field onsite services, rigging in/out our equipment.
We seek a candidate who is safety focused and quality driven.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Rig in and Rig out of rental equipment
- Servicing and light maintenance of rental equipment
- Swamping or hot-shotting
- 10 days on, 4 off. On call 24 hours during the 10 Day on shift (with respect to any booked time off)
- Perform the maintenance and installation of rental packages as required, and also supervise if designated to do so.
- Ability to haul a wide range of trailers with electric brake applications.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections.
- Troubleshoot machinery / equipment malfunctions using high attention to detail and experience to solution the problem.
- Collaborate with Management on repair strategies.
- Maintain and develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential internal and external customers.
- All work is to be performed in a safe manner and in accordance with the company and customer HSE policies.
- Willing to work at the shop and yard to help with repairs as needed.
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Operate hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year field service work experience.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with the ability and willingness to drive long distances. Code 51 Endorsement and/or abillity to upgrade is a valued asset.
- Have a mechanical aptitude with the willingness to learn.
- Clean drivers abstract must be provided at time of hire.
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Pre-Screening, and adhere to Drug and Alcohol policy to maintain Fit for Duty status at all times.

Pay: $23.00-$40.00 per hour
